Colourants

MF TECNO can supply machinery and complete systems for dosing, weighing, packaging, palletising and wrapping colourants.

Thanks to net weight, gross weight and single or twin screw dosing systems, various types of colourants can be managed.

One of the main objectives of packaging the colourants is to prevent the colours mixing with each other. There are several solutions that can be adopted on our packaging machines in order to obtain this result:

• Smooth surfaces with elements perfectly coupled with each other, to prevent possible product retention phenomena.
• Injectors for insufflation of compressed air onto the various components of the weighing system, such as: the connection flange, weighing bucket, unloading hopper, intermediate slide gate, etc. All for the purpose of eliminating any processing residues.
• Total accessibility to the various parts that make up the dosing system, whether they are screws, dosing belts or gravity feeders.
• Treatment of the surfaces in contact with the product, to prevent attachment and reduce effects of abrasiveness. 
• In addition to the easy access to the various weighing parts, there is also the extreme simplicity of disassembly of the unloading cone, which can be removed in just a few seconds to allow unmatched ease of cleaning.

Using the shrink wrappers and case packers, the packaged colourants can be organised in bundles and introduced into boxes. Finally, thanks to a wide range of palletisers, the packages can be placed on pallets and wrapped by automatic and semi-automatic wrappers.
